I have a severe knock retard issue, KR pulls ALL of the timing, and cannot get past 5000 RPMs.
its a E38 ECU has long tubes, no cats, mild cam, stroker 408 with ported heads, 10.6 to 1 compression, return fuel system with ID1050's.
I took it to a tuner and got it back barely running so I've been trying to fix it. Did the MAF first, and working on the VVE table now, but cannot get to the higher RPM range because of the timing issues.
Currently have 5 degrees removed from the stock table, currently 93 octane from Shell, tried a tank of racing fuel with the same isssue.
