Drive by wire as in electronic or as in a cable throttle body??

The electronic throttle will never read zero because the blade is always open to run the engine. Probably around 10-15% at idle. A cable throttle body should read zero at idle.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

i have an electronic accelerator pedal

& just to be clear, i'm referring to the accelerator pedal position, not the throttle position

i just checked over my last scan & it read 0% prior to shifting into gear

it wasn't reading below 4% when i posted this thread & i made no changes to affect the pedal

    odd
