    2011 Coyote Vortech wont idle

    So the car starts and tries to run but hunts for a place to idle. Stft dump a ridiculous amount of fuel until the point it loads up on fuel. And spark goes to torque reduction. Vortech ysi, stock tb, boss manifold, longtubes, o/f xpipe, FID1000 injectors, return style fuel system

    this is a dedicated Ethanol tune? your injector settings are not setup for return style

    your MAF setup is stock (you need to rescale period)

    make sure your injectors data is correct or car will default to OL

    I?ll change the injector data for return style. What should the rescaled maf look like?

    After rescaling the maf and setting injectors for return style im still getting Spark Source= Torque control and Fuel source= OL TQ rec lean

    Need to changes the manifold volume for a Boss manifold for one. You have it set lower than a stock manifold. Disable cylair anticipation but leave cylair filter on. Your fuel trims are off 50% + and the MAF needs to be adjusted for this. Would start by highlighting the whole thing and multiplying by 1.5 as this will cause you to fault open loop if it can't get to stoich using the current calculations and will cause all kinds of idle issues. Boss manifold volume of 11.74 which can be input under the speed density tab.

    Rescaling the MAF is to populate the MAF period between 101us and 83us. Get rid of some of the higher values to create more room for better fueling in WOT areas of the MAF curve.
    The best way to adjust fuel trims is to calculate the difference between the volume of the stock MAF housing and your current MAF housing. You could mulitply the entire table. Then you can rescale the MAF for WOT areas.

    Tips for the road
    Set Throttle Angle Min back to stock .0625. Increasing throttle angle minimum is not a solution and will cause you to tune that area incorrect. It's just a temporary patch people use when they can't get a car to idle right. Stock throttle body, even on large oval throttle bodys, this doen't need to be changed.
    Same thing for WOT Start set at 100. You have no room to drive between 0 and 100. set WOT start around 400-450 so you can drive before transitioning to WOT.
    Disable OP Enrichement Req in the VCT tab.
    Your torque tables have a nasty dip in WOT areas of 300 ft lbs. Looks like an accidental click and drag. I'm not too sure on how well using the same values for all your torque tables will run. Your inverse tables need to be calculated for those indicated torque tables.
