    Tuning for others?

    Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum and have found it to be filled with great info. Thank you all for making it available.

I have been out of the loop for a number of years when it comes to auto technology. Tuning the OEM ECU's is entirely new to me. I am retired from the IT industry and am quite comfortable with tech of all sorts.

    Question:

Would it be a reasonable and realistic to set up as a "dealer" and sell their tune to local folks? Tune vendor gets paid for every tune and I make a little for installing it.

As I am not experienced, I would NOT create and sell my own tune.

    What do you all think?

Pretty much every tune is unique to each vehicle being tuned - and they all need a little adjustment. Its not like offering a size 38 waist pair of underwear off the rack at Walmart. That is, unless the services of a seamstress is sold along with every purchase of underwear.
