2003 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi PCM upgrade

Hi all I have a 2003 Ram 1500 5.7 and it does not seem to be supported though its an NGC3. What is the best (mostly) plug and play upgrade i can install?

Maybe I wrongfully assumed my ECU was incompatible due to this error when trying to read it. It also says something about unknown modules being present.

Any help would be appreciated.

I know this is old, but if anyone comes here looking for Infomartion, the best option is to upgrade the ECU to the 04-05 Ram ECU , 05 is a better option, but 04 will work fine and is mostly plug and play while 05 there is a more wiring to deal with.

on Hemi truck Club , .com there is a great write up about switching the 03 over to 05.

Swapping 06-08 ECu in to the 03 is more involved , but you do have better tunability over the P.O.S REF545.

Ultimite is a ECU from a 6 speed 2013/2014 , those are a complete P.I.A to swap over to, it can be done, it's been done, with this swap, you should swap over the Whole dash.....it'll fit and honestly I think it looks better.
