I have what I feel is a decent tune going. However, I feel as though I am leaving some power behind with this cam I installed. Last Aug my AFM left my daughter and me stranded on the interstate in 100-degree weather. After getting the truck towed 200 miles back home I dropped in a BTR stage 2 v2 cam upgrade valve springs and deleted that AFM. I have installed a wideband sensor AEM and tuned my VVE tables, and MAF is recalibrated.
This is where I blank. I have a decent amount of power and have no major trouble towing my 16' enclosed trailer. When I hit WOT I notice the wideband hits as low as 0.6xx Lamda, otherwise, I'm pretty solid at 1.000. This would lead me to believe I have a couple of potenntial issues to fix. first being WOT tuning and possibly Partial throttle tuning. I was also told the torque tables needed to be adjusted; however, I have no idea how this is truly accomplished or what to monitor.
Since I have started this journey only 6 months ago, this torque-controlled computer is new to me. I could use a mentor. I was a master tech for a dealership for near 15 years. GMC threw me a curve on this Gen V tuning.
I can post a few Logs if I know what specifically someone wants to look at, as well as my latest tune file. I appreciate any help I receive.
