Car has crazy erratic MAF readings, tried 3 MAF cards so far

They are not consistant, some pulls read pretty clean, next one doesnt. Thing shows constant little bits of knock on pulls even with extremely low timing, and I wonder if has anything to do with it. He said he built an intake and is using LS7 style MAF card but Ive had him try a couple, maybe needs to be in a straighter section of pipe... but its in the same spot all the time so why would readings be wild then cam then wild again is my thought

7psi LSA on stock G8 motor, little cam with DOD delete I think it was. 10 degrees timing still seeing KR, up top on this pull you see crazy erratic MAF values... Supposedly wiring checks out, Im not near the car to go over myself

If you zoom in, you can see the MAF is erratic all the time. Not every home-built intake tube is going to play nice.

laminar air flow is crucial with a MAF. "built an intake", where is the MAF? Do you have any pics of this setup? 7psi, turbo? Blower? I'm going to assume you can't put the factory intake pipe on to test because of the new pipe arrangements, maybe an intercooler is in the mix now?

Its a LSA setup mentioned that in post, I didnt build the car or have seen it, but I assumed the way they did the air intake is not happy. Just never seen it quite that pronounced

SD or just blend it at 3k or wherever MAF starts being stable?

I feel you, been going back and forth with RPM 5in intake on my V, and MAF is just all over the place. Super lean on slow take off, and super rich in cruising if I adjust it down low, and hybrid/blend won't idle at all no matter the switch point.
It looks like SD is the way to go, atleast in my case. May be same for you ? Lol
