    2001 jtec and HPT

    Hello,

I want to get a HP Tuner for my 2001 Dakota R/T (5.9). I want to start doing my own tuning, I read the last 70 pages of posts to get familiar with JTEC tuning. Looking at the HPT website the MPVI2+is not in stock, but the MPVI3 is and they are the same price. Is the MPVI3 the one I want to purchase?

MPVI3 is not currently compatible with the JTEC/JTEC+ ecm's so if you can get your hands on an MPVI2/MPVI2+ that is going to be your best bet until we sort through some backend hangups with those ecms and the MPVI3
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

When are HPVI2+ going to be back in stock?

MPVI2+ is discontinued, they will never be back in stock.

So no more MPVI2+ and MPVI3 doesn't support JTEC.

I won't be replying to each and every thread where it is mentioned. I'll sticky it for a week or so once the update is ready.
