Oh someone please help me. My damn door chime is too loud! Factory settings are 'Too Loud' and 'Louder!'. Please Big Three, help us poor bastards with bleeding ears.

That chime is controlled by the BCM. Here's a hardware solution from the boys at SilveradoSS.com by way of GM-trucks.com.
