    Fuel Trim Reset button

The ability to reset the fuel trims is an amazing time saver. Without it, one needs to wait for the PCM to relearn all the new fueling (1-2 days driving on my 1999 GTP or disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to force a PCM fuel trim reset).

With the ability to do so at will, one could reliably do up to 10 VE and 10 MAF tunes in a single day, without it, one cannot go on to the next level of the tune until the trims are learned and reflected in the scan.

Gents, how hard would it be for HPT to add this VERY desireable feature for us V6 (and possibly the V8) guys?

    Thanks kindly!

Yeah, it is already there.. Not only that Jerry, even on or lowly V6s, we can turn the long term fuel trim learn off on the same page in VCM controls.. You can see just STFT (or in this case, total fuel trim) by turning off the ltft learn and hitting reset (fuel trims) right after that. Until you disconnect the scanner or turn the car or re-enable the learning, there will be no LTFTs.

I think I am going to have to give Jerry a head start by letting him VNC/RDP in to my notebook once and play with the program.. Otherwise, he will be jumping the gun until he receives his HPT.

Oh heck, I found out a few seconds ago in another thread. lol

As for the help files, I looked at them, but honestly it's all just a tease until my care package comes. Lightly frustrating... its currently at the UPS warehouse and I cannot get to it until the 2nd. So close yet so far away!

Thanks Bill, but its so close that my HPT comes that I will just bite my tongue until then.
