    Maximum values

    Gents,

I have been trying to modify Jerry's Tuning Notebook to reflect using the HPTuners instead of a DHP. I quickly ran into a problem. It seems the maximum RPM value for Target Idle Speed vs ECT is 1200. I see that Jerry has his idle set to 1400 rpm for his XP cam.

First, is there some way to determine the max values allowed? I know in the PT showed a min/max value.

Second, how would one bump their RPM to 1400 for an XP cam?

Third, which is the correct max value? The HPT limit of 1200, or whatever the PT allows as a max value?

    Thanks for the help.

    I'll look into it.

the only cells he shows a setting of 1200+ rpms is with an ECT of 14* or lower which in itself would be very rare to see for most.

I didnt post this, even though I ran in to it a while back.

Calibration 12596630 for a 2005 Grand Prix GTP has stock values of 1300 RPM for 86*.
97 Grand Prix GTP (not going to bother listing mods in detail) 1 messed up 97 PCM with about 30-50% of a 2003 calibration and parts of a few others.

Yeah, theres a good chance our max values are incorrect, I'll see if this is the case & hopefully have it fixed by the public release.

Hmm. Someone posted the file before me.

Good to hear that this might be updated.. I obviously don't use a 2005 calibration, but did use the stock idle settings from a 2005 for a while. But since the stock values are that high, I suspect the max value should be increased a bit.
