Hey Everyone. Need some help with tune

Whats going on, i am new on here, just picked up an HP Tuner for my 02 Grand Prix GTP. I have quite a few mods, they are in my sig. I scanned the car, which has a DHP 1.5 tune on there. I am getting about 10* of KR at around 100mph, and my injectors are at a 105% duty cycle. I have 42lb/hr injectors waiting to go in. I posted my scan to see if anyone can give me some pointers cause i have no idea what im doing in terms of adding fuel once i change the injectors. Thanks.

I am sure someone far more experienced then I will step in. I did not look at your scan yet but I would think that if your maxing your injectors then you running lean up top. The lean condition could be causing some of your KR.

The mods you have may barely be enough for that 3.2 that your running. Many people sub 3.4 run either some type of cam or IC, you may just be sneaking by with the headers and 1.9s. Many MANY people claim our injectors are good down to 3.1 but not lower, every car is different though. If your duty cycle is over 100% then I would definitely get those 42.5s in, and tune for them.

    BTW, welcome.

You need a wideband to verify/tune the AFR. The WOT AFR may be too rich, causing high IDC. I've seen over 100% IDC on stock vehicles.
The knock sensors on the V6's are way too sensitive.

INstall the 42.5's and adjust the IFR table for the new injector size (the 42.5# injectors will flow 15.3% more fuel than the stock 36# injectors) and rescan. If your injector duty cycle is over 100%, then the injectors are static and doing all they can do. I can't look at an HPT scan, but from what you say the injectors need to be upgraded before anything else at this point.

    thanks

thanks for the help, much appreciated. I will be installing the 42.5lb/hr injectors some time this week, but when i recalibrate it, i go to the editor and go under IRF table and ajust. I put it under beginner and i still dont understand alot of the stuff, i feel stupid, ive been reading alot and getting overwelmed, as far a graphs/cells with different colors, i have no idea what the numbers mean or stand for, I guess i thought it was more user freindly,
If you guys know any sites when i can learn on how to raise or lower timing, fuel and other tuning, please let me know, thanks again for your help.

Timing, Fueling and most other tuning operations can be found on these forums. Hit all of the stickies, use the search function and read everything you can. ClubGP.com has a PCM/tuning section and has provided me with a lot of good reading. What I found very useful was just sitting down adn reading every thread that had relevance to me, you would be surprised on how many links you will find that branch out to other sites and resources. Given time and some help, it will start coming together.

It also helps to learn about and understand the principles that dictate how our engines work and how they can work more effectively.

I have been trying to compile links into subjects to help people out but I keep forgetting to add to the list.

There is a general order to tuning, though it can cycle over a few times:

    - address injector disabling and tables that lean out fuel dangerously
    - address torque management in fuel and spark tables
    - idle and cruise fueling
    - WOT fueling
    - spark tuing
    - transmission (could be before spart tuning, if you wish)

In a more advanced tune, one may need to go back and forth amongst certain sections (ie: after an advanced spark tune, you may need to go back and touch up fueling), but thats normal. Its a kind of never ending cycle if you really get into things, but it is generally not wise to do the method backwards (ie: WOT fueling or spark tuning before idle and cruise tuning are down pat).
