Thread: 4l80e swap done now some questions

    4l80e lockup messed up

    Well I finally did my 4l80e swap im wondering if someone could send me a file that they have already. The lockup seems alittle screwy seems like it kicks in and out randomly so Im wondering if anyone knows what the deal is there. I notice it realeases when I let off the brakes where the 4l60e would stay locked until the realease speed was met. Is there anything I can do to keep it locked up I used the tables from my 4l60e for now and it seems to be different. I can post my file then does anyone have a file from an f body that I could try to take a look at?

    Make sure that the idle & low rpm misfire tables are set to 32767. If a misfire is detected (normal with your camshaft), the TCC will unlock.
