I have HP tuners with the HPt usb cable and interface for my Camaro. I also have 2 other fords as family cars and would like to read/clear their codes - I know HP tuners doesn't support it but can I use the HPt cable/interface with another OBD2 reader software? I tried getting it to work with the universal PCM Scan software but it keeps telling me can't read the COM port. Wondering if it should be possible to do or if anyone has any experience with it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
By the way, is there anything like the "virtual dyno/dragstrip feature" going to be available for HPt? I know its not highly accurate, but it would be a nice tool for reference.
