    I have a 1998 camaro z28... real time?

I see that the real time function is 1999+... so I won't be able to use real time on my vehicle because mine is 1998?

so what does that limit me to? does this mean I can't calculate cells in the ve by use of real time?

    ...lame

It means you won't be able to tune entire tables in real time, however bi-directional controls still function and otherwise 98's are very similar to 99+ pcm's as far as tables go.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

the quick response is very much appreciated

another question: so what parts of the tables will I be able to calculate and which ones can't I calculate? My HpTuners std suite is on its way and I'm just curious

There are about 350-400 tables in the 98 pcm that you'll be able to modify.

    I guess I didn't specify...

for the 98 camaro ls1, are there any real time capabilities?

edit: I am just worried that I might be at a loss on the real time feature is all

Bi-directional controls are the only form of real time changes for 98 pcm's but is limited to things like Absolute spark timing, +/- spark timing, absolute commanded afr, etc.

ok so I'll have some capabilities

First thing I need to do is calibrate my speedometer for a 4:10 and then I'll get into the ve tables because I don't think my car is running at a good AFR... I have an AFR tac in my car but I'm not sure if it works and its all over the place (lean - rich... all over the place haha). Anyways, that aside I'm excited to get it but it hasn't shipped yet and I bought it on monday. gotta be patient haha

    thanks Bill!

No *RTT table tuning mode* is available for the 98's.
