Sharing VCM suite?

A friend and I want to get HP Tuners splitting the cost and credits, I can't see us using up all the credits, 2 for his car 2 for mine. Can the software be installed on 2 different laptops and used like this?

Yes but you'll need to resync your licenses when going from pc to pc.

So theres no way we can both use it at the same time on 2 different laptops? If we buy 2 cables. Thanks for the help, just trying to answer some questions we both have.

You can use it at the same time, however to make sure your licenses show up properly on each computer you will need to sync your interface to the pc. If you purchased two cables they would treated as individual sales and are not combined in any way.
