Yes definitely a good idea to verify its vehicle specific & not cable/interface specific.

I don't have HPT but I'm assuming based on this thread you need battery voltage at the DLC for it to work. The fuse you're searching for is a 10 amp under the passenger footwell (BCM) and it's labeled REAR FOG/ALDL/TOP SWITCH.

That was it!! it was blown for sure!!
But the rear defogger works lights up???
Im gonna try and tune it know

and that its a 10amp the name REAR FOG/ALDL/TOP SWITCH for future reference to help other people in the future??

I would assume that fuse is in the same location from 05-08 models.

Stingray or 1Bad, where is this fuse panel located? an expanded shot of the area would be great, I can photochop in arrows & stuff as long as you can get me a pic of the area so people can see where I'm referring to.
