Misfire Troubleshooting HELP needed - pls...

    '01 Chevy Silverado 5.3

History: Had a Maggie on it for a few thousand miles then put back to stock minus the EGR. Ran great for two weeks after the Maggie was removed until yesterday when it started misfiring and went into limp home mode SES blinking.

Checked all the wires and everything looks okay. Re-seated injector connections - no help.

Scan and tune attached any ideas? I'm at a loss.

    Thanks in advance!

check the plugs? How do you know the wires are Ok? What about the coils?

The plugs were replaced when the maggie was installed 3k ago. I guess that is a good question - with the P0300 Injection Control Circuit code I was thinking fuel system not ignition. Could it be a coil pack/wire/plug causing this?

    Thanks!

    yes

How is the fueling? If it is dumping in too much, or too little fuel, it may cause this as well.

I'll pull the plugs and take a look. We did go one heat range cooler with the Maggie. Thanks, Jeff

Plugs on bank 1 are completely white and the plugs on bank 2 are tan like they shoud be.

one of the plugs may be cracked, one of the wires may be damaged, a coil could be going out. If it's random multiple, I am thinking it may be something with the tune.

you may have a clogged injector which will also cause the P0300 to come on

How in HPT can I watch each cylinder fire? I'm trying to narrow it down to one cylinder. Thanks!

    UPDATE:

So I took it to the dealer this morning. Turned out to be a bad UBEC Busbar - a busbar in the under hood fuse box. Running like a champ again. Thanks for all the help.
