    misfire

when i'm driving occasionally I will get a misfire code as well as saying that my bank 1 o2 sensor is reading low voltage, scan attached. could this be due to my sensor being bad or what else possibly?

Air leaks in the headers are the first culprit I would look at. Then the 02 sensor itself. If you have over 40K on the sensors it won't hurt to replace them.

I didn't see any leaks in the headers, I'll get some new o2's now. Also today I was driving it and the idle started to drop out then one time it died. Also when holding the gas pedal steady around 2k rpm it would start cutting out drop about 500 rpm then you would feel power, until it got back to around 2k then drop and continue this. I'm pretty sure I'm running very rich as black smoke was pouring out the exhaust. I hope this can help some more

I replaced that injector that it was misfiring on, it ran great for a while then it all started again. Both oxygen sensors were functioning great right after I put the new injector in as well. It only cuts out part of the time, and its usually only from 1500 to 2500 rpm and if I go much higher it usually smooths out and runs fine. Any other suggestions?

Do you have any interal engine mods?
Might want to pull the valve covers and check the springs. Or maybe it's as simple as a bad plug or wire.

i put in new plugs and wires, could it possibly be from the o2 wire getting too hot? i'll pull a valve cover to check soon.

I'm getting a couple ses lights with it now besides the U codes. P1031 low voltage bank 1 sensor 1 and P1051 low voltage bank 2 sensor 1 but usually I only get the P1031. Would this mean the sensors could be bad or what?

today I drove around for an hour or an hour and a half with no problems, then all of a sudden it began sputtering, missing and dumping black smoke out. Occasionally the o2's read very low or 0 and other times they read fine. The cutting out happens on and off sometimes only 3 seconds on 3 off and others for longer times. I'm thinking it could be a bad electrical connection but I have no idea where to start to look for that. Also because sometimes only one o2 sensor doesn't work and some other times both work or both don't work. Any ideas?

When you are logging data and this happens, press the "M" key on the keyboard to add a comment to your file. Then we can see exactly where the problem lies. You can fill in the comment data after you are done logging.

I drove it for a while tonight and it ran good most of the time. Towards the end, bank 1 sensor 1 o2 went to not reading anything and in my comments around frame 14913 is when it began to run mildly choppy and by frame 15229 or a little before that it was running normal again. I also attached a screenshot of the ses lights before clearing them and when I stopped driving the car.

about the o2 sensors. they are both reading 0 volts after a while of driving but function normally until then. A friend of mine has a 57 chevy and he put an o2 sensor on it to adjust the carb how he wanted it and said when he was running rich and it was hot his sensors would go to 0 volts as well. what is wrong here?
