    C6 A6 w/2800 Vigilante - Recommendations

    Guys,

I installed a 2800 Vigilante into my 07 C6 A6. Is there anything I should change in my tune to accommodate the new torque converter. The car drives fine for the most part but I was wondering if there was anything I can do to get rid of some of the mushiness, for lack of a better word.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Bottom end mushiness is the converter when it is unlocked. Get the converter locked up at lower throttle and it should feel better.

Which tables do I modify to lockup the converter at part throttle? Would it be best to post my tune?

    Thanks for your help!

TCC Apply/Release tables would be the ones you want to look at. Make sure you move them down in concert. So if you take off 5 MPH from Apply you also take off 5 MPH from Release.

The converter will see more wear with the additional locking and unlocking. If that's not a consideration then do as EC_Tune recommends. I prefer mine not to lock until I reach OD gears and live with the higher rpm part throttle acceleration.
