anybody got any info on the ecm g100 wideband? i was gonna pick up the AFX after reading good things about it but i'm willing to spend the extra money if it's worth it.

In my opinion, ECM is the standard of the industry for wideband accuracy. PERIOD. I use an ECM LambdaPRO and recommend the AFM1000 to most professional aftermarket tuners. The NGK AFX is based off the old AFM1600 design and is manufactured by ECM for NGK. I consider it one of the best "budget" widebands.
Although I'm not familiar with the "g100" you mention...
A couple of years ago, I did some testing for an A100 vs an AFM1000 unit, and they were very very close, The A100, while I have never found any information online, looks like the G100 type control box, without a gauge connected.
The one I tested did have the NTK sensor, and not the bosch. I would reccomend the AFM1000 to any serious tuner.

looks like the AFX with NTK sensor is going to be the way to go, i didn't know it was based on a ECM unit.
NTK is not available with the AFX currently. NGK states it will be at least 7-8 months. Check out the bottom few posts of the following thread:

yeah, i was going to buy the ntk seperate and use the bosch that comes with it as a backup
