elimination of rear O2 sensors?

Is it possible to completely eliminate the rear O2's on an 07 C6 E38 vette? I don't want to install 2 bungs on a new exhaust system if I don't have to. I have a Kooks catted setup now, so the O2's are installed, but disabled anyway, at least as far a coding the SES anyway. Will I run into a problem if I just tie up the rear sensor harness?
