How to get TPS back to 0% at start-up idle? Vette ETC

correction on the old idle logs showing 0% TPS, looked at them again.

16% on start-up 2000rpm and drops to 9-10% to normal idle. first start off the day only.

Make sure you are logging the correct PID.

Using the same idle PID, just added to it. 16% then retreats to 10% after start, eng temp is 79, with eng temp at 140 and TPS is 16% start idle is normal. What gives? Still have that 100rpm hang until stopped also.

No set screw, ETC - Vette I seem to be going backwards with Idling issues; I get it close then make some changes, it gets worse, change it back and it's not the same. Like a virus that keeps mutating. Am I not giving the changes enough time to take affect?

Still looking for advice. Only doing this when car sits over night; I started it up 2000 rpm shut down within 20 sec. started back up and it was a normal start.

I was thinking it was temp or ait related, then I started it one morning, 2000rpm, I shut it down for a few seconds and it restarted normal. I put the old tune back in and it didn't change. I'm lost and thinking I may have more going on than just the tune. Maybe you could look at the tune In the post and see if it is really screwed up.

well it's fixed, I made a few changes, but I believe it was the Startup airflow initial that did it. Reduced the numbers by 2 across the board and zeroed out the decay.

As Russ showed, that's normal for the ETC vehicles to show higher TPS readings at idle than non-ETC vehicles.

On to your last post above, the colder the ECT the higher the idle will be initially. There's also other values that cause the idle to hang based on temps, etc. You're on the right track.
