1999 5.3 chevy truck no cats

Is it possible to get a 5.3 from a 1999 chevy truck running correctly with no cats? I am taking a 1999 truck and putting a 66 body on it so i don't need the cats but do not know if it can be programmed to run correctly.

Yes, you can make it run correctly. You will have disable all position 2 o2 codes and cot(do a search as the specifics are listed in another post).
