Thread: DFCO question on enable TPS table input

DFCO question on enable TPS table input

My table is stock setting which says TPS must fall below a certain % to enable DFCO. Right now I looked at my logs and my TPS % never falls below 5% at idle or deceleration.
I guess this iswhy I never get enabled DFCO and that's why when I decelerate my AFR's go to high 11's-lower 12's. Now this really doesnt bother me but should I change it so im not dumping tons of fuel while coasting to a stop or slowing down?

So is this the table part I need to change to over 5% so it enables or do I need to change other parameters as well in this table?

So it looks like its just personal trial and error what to set it at for what rpm cells. I guess best place to start is just get it enabled at lower rpms and see how it goes. I dont think I wanna be at 6500 and let up on it all the way and go lean with it enabling.

Couldn't have said it better myself...Pulled from old thread.

I just happened to check some of my logs from a year ago with my old blown motor that was tuned by a tunershop and noticed I had no DFCO happening then either as IPW never fell below 1.6ms ever on any decels.
I guess it never hurt anything all that time not having it, but now that I have discovered it not enabling I wanna fix it or at least find out why its not enabling.

This is why I have learned to tune myself so I know exactly whats going on with my tune and logging results.
