    Tuning Monte Carlo

    Hi everyone, im new to hp tuners and the forum. im trying to tune my 06 monte carlo ss with 5.3L v8

    My mods are
    Hogan down pipe with high flow cat
    res. delete
    flowmaster mufflers
    tb spacer, k&n drop in filter, smooth intake bellow

    so im just wanting to know if my grasp on tunning is correct, or how can i take it farther or if im totally off

    am i just advancing spark farther untill i start to see knock then backing it off?

    by adjusting power enrichment, if i lower the values to say 1, or .95 until say 2250 rpms would this lean out my mixture for better milage. then above that point go straight to 1.2 to richen it up for more power?

    The PE tables are only used while in PE mode, if you are at part or light throttle you probably aren't in pe mode so they won't be used.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
