    Its also been proven to NOT reach 1000hp.... many many many more times. Get the 58 tooth reluctor wheel and treat yourself to an e38.. the upgraded OS would really really help you out. Logging speed is much faster (even with twice the pids logged), skyhigh maf limit (hz and g/sec), zr1 inj limit, and all the other goodies that (the upgraded 2.5bar os) e38 provides.

    Plus theres the added benefit of having the forged crank, even if I never said forged. .. and 850whp is kinda close to 1000hp crankhp.. depends on your driveline loss.. It also depends on the driving style/conditions the setup will see.. Two cars, duplicates of each other.. but with different drivers doing different 'things', could have drastically different lifespans (motor wise).

    edit: just saw that you haven't done the rebuild yet.. Even better.. not having to pull the motor and change the crank lessens the pain-in-the-ass factor.. Then again, there might be more than just the crankshaft position sensor that you have to change, sensor wise.
