rtt problems

I have a 2004 gto that I got a 3bar tune in. I can not get the icon to show up on the scanner for the real time tunning. What am I doning wrong? I went to the help section and it shows that when the scanner is pluged in that it should show rtt icon for the enhanced tune I have in the gto. I am a newby to the hp tunner forum and the hp tunner so any help would be great.

this file is when I went to the 90mm throtle body and the victor jr intake and just increaced the map and smothed it for a safe start. I am loading the the 3bar speed density tune next.

this is the the current 3 bar tune that I am working on and trying to get the rtt to work. I have not put the procharger on as of yet but am working on the tune up to the 105 kpa. If you see anything in my methods of tunning just tell me. I am open to suggestion also this has the 60# injector and a MTI stage 1 cam with a 2800 converter

I have got a really good tune with the 60# injector, 6.0 ported heads, MTI cam, 2800 stall, ls6 intake, stock throtle body, but I have not found it in my hp tunner files just my old efi live files.

The file you uploaded does not have any Enhanced OS, click on HP OS and apply an Enhanced OS and enable it under Engine-General

the second file I listed shows it is enhanced

hey thanks slow Down. I am new to the hp tunner and all my experiance is with my BigStuff3 I have in my race car so any help with the Hp tunner is greatly appreciated.

Looking that the OS options, 3 Bar doesn't have RTT.

I have a 2003 vette ls2 3bar tune with the rtt on it so the 3bar does have rtt.

no guess its my bad? You are saying the 04 GTO does not have the rtt capability? I was thinking sence the 03 vette 3bar had rtt then the GTO would also.

This os doesn't have RTT capabilities for the 3 bar custom os, only for 1 & 2 bar.

thanks Bill for the replys. when I read in the help section that only the 98 was the one that did not have rtt capability I didnt look any further. I just assumed sence the 03 vette with 3bar did that the 04 GTO would also. Damn import WTF LOL

thanks for your replys but I have one more question. Can I switch back to a 2bar tune and not use any credits so I can use the rtt? that will let me rtt up to 15psi then switch back to 3bar and finish up the other half of the ve.

Yes, so long as you are running software version 2.22 or newer.

I also like to add HPtunner is a great system and this forum has been a great help for me.
