is HPtuners version is 1.5.0 a vin locked?

HPtuners version is 1.5.0 a vin locked version and does it require credits?

hptuners w/ serial cable I've read is not supported by HPT after Sept-09 does that mean

it is useless for tuning or are there unlocked versions that can still tune like a designated year model without credits?

    Thanks

Its not on a credit or vin based system.

Not being supported means you can't purchase new licenses on the interface and if the interface breaks or fails you cannot repair or replace it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

you say you can't purchase new licenses on the interface I'm assumming the interface is the box inbetween the cable? do'es HPTs provide a eletrical schematic for repair of interface?

w/out a new license all it's good for is a scanner & data logger and not a tuner? or is it completely useless?

    Thanks Bill

Its not on a credit or vin based system ? is it useless?T or F ? Its useless for most vehicles that are not already licensed on that interface.

?1.can a used HPT version w/ serial cable 1.5.0 used as a tunner? T or F? T for whatever vehicles are currently licensed on it

?2.can a used HPT version w/ serial cable 1.5.0 used as a scanner? T or F? T for a limited amount of vehicles

?3.can a used HPT version w/ serial cable 1.5.0 used as a data logger? T or F? scanner & datalogger are the same thing.

?4.w/out a new license is it useless? T or F? it won't be able to do much on vehicles you don't have a license for

    thanks for any usefull ansewers.
