2001 Camaro..M6.. Dies when trying to turn at a slow speed/idle

It idles fine and when I drive it sets in fine without dipping or surging... but when I turn the steering wheel to turn while coasting or at idle... It stalls..

    any ideas?

SS does it at low speeds. except it doesnt die it dips to ~500ish. wont do it from anything more than 10mph. im thinking of zeroing a couple tables in the lower rpm up to tht speed to see wht itll do.

Like when pullling into your driveway? I have the same issue and I konw its a simple 50rpm bump in some table to fix it...

Since it's more difficult to turn the wheels when the car is not moving or moving slowly, maybe the extra accessory load from the power steering pump is not being accounted for in the idle parameters?
    Just a thought to consider.

Yes, that is a common issue from the load on the motor from the PS pump. If the idle is not setup correctly it will be an issue for sure. If it is setup correctly at stand still, there may still need to be other modifications to help prevent it.

jus sounds like the airflow tables arent where they should be.

on mine, i think its just the cracker. it wont dip coming off the throttle a speeds greater than 10ish which is where the low or zeroed cells are on that table.

Can't come to any conclusions with the information he gave. What kind of clutch does he have? Is it light weight? If so, airflow isn't going to do a thing.
