    NNBS Denali 6.2 WOT problems

Hoping there might be an amazing electrician round here or someone who has been through the same problem..

everytime I go WOT in 1st gear only, and the tach hits 4500rpm, the power dies, car over revs, turns off and restarts... then everything in the cabin is reset... whats weird is the A/C was in *C, this happened and it changed to *F

Somone please let me know if you've had experience!

Really unsure of why this is happening... just started 4days ago, and the first time it did start, it wasn't everytime I went WOT.. Now it is!

This only happens in 1st gear too... the others gears at wot are fine..

    any suggestions?

WOW! That is diffenately a new one. Seems that your Body Module is shutting down and/or losing communication with the rest of the modules. Did you take ECM harness lose when installing the cam? Maybe a plug is lose.? I would think that it is being caused by a modification that was done.

still looking for an answer.. i've checked, cleand, ac delco sprayed all grounds.. followed the wires from the battery to the ground and wire splits to the dynamo with no problems...

removed the fuse box, cleaned up the fuse connections.. still...

any other ideas? I haven't checked the BCM controls yet, but thinking that since this only happens in 1st gear, it might be connected with something else....

I'd say it's an electrical intermittent caused by
acceleration. F-bodies with a loose battery hold-
down can see it roll and short to the fenderwell.
A loose ground or something like that could also
be like that but probably see it at other things like
bumps as well. Could try it parked, see if jerking
the battery around does it (internal plate fault?)
or if it has the potential to roll to a bad place under
    hard acceleration.

Might also look for loose metallic things near any
    bare IGN / BAT terminals.

I laugh because how old this thread is...I just had the exact same problem, I own 1 3/4'' American Racing headers as well. Motor flex under WOT causes the passenger side header pipe to smash the positive starter lead against the frame, my truck was shutting down everytime under WOT and my PCM would reset. There is enough slack to relocate the starter wire.

Why do these truck motors move so much? This will probably play hell with my fixed cold air intake...

    The factory mounts are junk.
