I am heading to the dyno tomorrow and just relized I have never attempted to use the VCM controls on my truck. I would like to hold it in 3rd and lock the converter but it will not allow me to do so. The tab turns green and it will lock the converter but as soon as I roll into the throttle it will unlock. Truck is a 00 Silverado with a 2 bar SD setup and a swapped 4L80. When I last dynoed the truck it had the 4L60 and it would hold 3rd gear when commanded. I know it is late notice but if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. If I can't get the VCM editor to work I will have to write it into the tune to lock the converter and not allow it to downshift???
