    Transmission temperature warning in DIC

    Hi,

is it possible, to reduce the transmission temperature warning point to a lower value?

    The car is a 2007 Corvette Z06

    Thank you!

We cannot find this data in HP Tuners!!! Maybe it is only for automatic trans? (which is not applicable on a Z06!)

Trans Diag is empty (no options etc.)

Sorry missed the Z06 moniker. It's no doubt there but not exposed.

Yeah, the temperature is displayed, when the gearbox gets too hot. So there is a temperature sensor built-in.
We need a way to get it on a display before the temperature is that high!

Does someone has an idea, how we can get this temperature from the system (even for displaying in a separate display?

We found the DTC's, why should we set it to 3 - no error reported? We want to see the temperature on display or otherwise a lower alarm threshold!

    Thank you!

just thinking out loud here, but could you possibly put a resistor of some value (not sure how to find out which you need) in line with the temp sender to basically simulate a higher than normal reading, so that when it trips the idiot light or whatever, its where you need it. I have no idea if thats even feasible, but it came to me.
