So I'm trying to tune my transmission because it was acting screwy after the cam swap (converter lock/unlock, searching for fear, etc).
Anyway, I have no idea how this problem has started but it was shifting into 2nd and 3rd no problem, but it wouldn't shift into fourth properly. It would hit the point that it would normally shift (around 20% throttle and 35mph) and would then surge up in RPM real high until it reached my shift point and then it would shift. Easy enough...i lowered the 3-4 shift point and problem solved.
Now the real issue. When I'm in 4th the engine feels like its in first. By that I mean I was in 4th, going about 35 mph at about 10% throttle. When I gave it gas, it would hit the rev limiter. Then if it's try it again, it would pull hard like it was in first. So what the heck?! Is it the TCC lockup tables? Is it a mechanical problem (I had the trans rebuilt less than 5K miles ago and had the torque converter cleaned and a new hub put on).
I'll post my log and tune.
