    Turn off LTFT

How do i disable my LTFT in my GTP? I am trying to turn off my LTFT so i can tune only on STFT to get my MAF dialed in but i dont know how to do it or if it can even be done. Is the best way to tune my MAF by following this thread http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...oop+maf+tuning

I was trying to follow this thread...

As far as I know you can not disable LTFTs in these PCMs. But you could log LTFT + STFT. This should give you about the same results.

My experience is that LTFT alone work the best.

So should I make a histogram of LTFT vs MAF and use that or should i log STFT vs MAF also and then add them together and use that to paste to my MAF vs Freq? I have my wideband i just have to hook it up so i can do AFR but im just trying to get MAF alittle closer before i do that.

I usually use a Histogram of LTFT vs. MAF. But you can also make a Histogram of LTFT + STFT vs. MAF.

You can do it on the car but it must be done with a laptop hooked up to the car. To do it go to VCM controls> Fuel & spark> Fuel trim learn "OFF". But that will only do it for that one time so you will need to reset that every time, also remember to reset the trims first.

I may be wrong but as far as I know, this would disable STFTs too.
