    Thumbs up Bought another car

I know this is the wrong section, but you guys in this section are who I talk to and "know" LOL!

Bought the wife a 07 Equinox LT with the 3.4 V6 and AWD. I looked on the app chart just for shits and giggles...3.4V6 in the Equinox is on the list LMAO!!! I told the wife, she just goes " O GOD "

Going to plug into the car and DL the stock tune just to see what you "could" do

Ha, nice. My mom had a 06 equinox with the 3.4. Even stock they move out pretty good for a suv.

The Wife's mallcrawler is a '07 Torrent AWD with the 3.4 L V-6. I've logged it before but no tunage. I'm very disappointed in the factory chrome wheels peeling & pitting. I take good care of them too. The new ones are plastic chrome "Chrome Tech" on the G6, ect. Maybe they won't peel. We're actually considering selling it soon.

07, might still be under warranty. They should put all 4 new on there. We just put 4 new rims on buick lucerne and only two were pitted.

The Wife stopped off after phys therapy at the dealer we got it from, they are either going to replace them or if they can't get them, have them refinished. Either way is an improvement, Thanks for the heads up, must be a service bulletin someplace on them.

    I owe you a beer!...maybe a tune.

its just your factory warranty that covers the rims themselves.

We were looking at the Torrent GXP as well, along with the Edge SEL w/panoramic roof. Ended up finding this car with low miles for a whole lot less with a warranty still, so we jumped on it. Im going to plug the HPT into it a lil later and just see what it looks like lol

They didn't have the GXP in '07 when we got our Torrent. It's a loaded AWD one though, leather, heated seats and all. Even has the trailer package that I never have used. Nice ride.

    Buy a REAL SUV, not a crossover then we'll talk grocery-getter performance. 6.0L LS2 V8 + AWD in a midsize SUV =

That said, I want to get my mom in either a previous-gen Caddy SRX or an Audi Q5 so I cant bash crossovers too much. But the Audi cant tow jack, the new SRXs are worthless unfortunately (and bloated without a V8 option ).

Edit: dang, this forum doesnt show sigs if you update them after you post. Oh well, Im doing the comparison to my 08 TB SS AWD. Fun truck, to say the least.

Yeah its a sickness, I can't wait till I'm able to tune our minivan
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I borrowed a friends TBSS for a couple weeks, and it was kinda fun.... but watching the gas needle move down as i pressed the gas got old. I think I liked driving my bosses old SRT8 Jeep more, but its been a few years.

I feel your pain......mine wants to trade our 4.2 TB in for an Acadia or 6.0 Denali at some point (I guess you need to approach small bus size when planning for kid number 2 and you have 3 dogs), and I rec'd a similar response from a pretty similar remark.

I do have an OK for a cowl induction hood on her TB, though! I'd prefer the ok on my Z28

Will an 07-08 ECM work in a 05-06. I would like to tune my Equinox. Wasn't sure if the sensors and pinouts were the same.
