I am trying to read a 2003 chevy silverado 2500hd 6.6 duramax, when i try to read it it gives a boot loader timeout error, i have read that it is due to low voltage... i put 2 brandnew interstate batteries in the truck reading 12.6 volts with the engine in the run posistion, and it still throws the same errors... hell, ive even hooked up a battery charger and got it up to 13.5 volts, still the same problem
one thing i noticed is when i am reading the computer, the vin comes up fine, but the BCC is blank, no ???? like on my old 98 camaro, just blank...
i have scanned this thing with a snapon modis and cleared every code on it, i guess these trucks are known for having a few weird codes that dont throw a CEL, sily body codes and such i read are totally normal, anyhow, i cleared EVERY device one by one and tried again, same thing...
any ideas?
