07 LS2 Vette auto - GM hot cam kit

hi guys,

I've just istalled the GM hot cam kit into this Corvette.
I've done the VE tuning with the Bluecat SW, MAF tuning, and minor changes in idle and tranny. I will go deeper later into tranny idle and small stuff.

the question is:
WHY the engine is knocking? I see ten degrees of knock retard, that it's a lot.
I've put back the stock timing and is knocking again.
any tips?

the only other mods are the 160°F thermostat and the axle back Magnaflow exhaust with Air Aid CAI.
stock exhaust manifold and cat converter.

Drop timing in half and if it doesn't get better, you have a mechanical problem.
