2007 Escalade L92 engine....what ECU can I use?

Please help.
I bought an L92 6.2L VVT and 6L80E setup from a 2007 Escalade.
It did not come with the ECU.

I plan to tune with an HPT.

What I need to know is which E38 ecu can I use?
I have learned that I cannot use a blank E38, that HP tuners will not flash a blank ecu. HPT can only rewrite, is that correct?

I want to keep the VVT.
So, must I have a 07 Escalade ECU? Or can I use any other preprogrammed E38(say a '07 vette)?

Also, do I have to have the dbw pedal from the Escalade or can I use any truck pedal?

I would stick to the escalade ecu.. what harness are you using the escalade harness.
