what custom pid are you guys using to have the scanner read above its normal max boost reading? i have a boost spike and level off visable on the rpd but it shows up as a flat line on the scanner because its maxed out

Log the boost sensor voltage and baro and use this custom pid from here http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...light=PID.2339
While it isn't perfect, it's the best I could setup with the boost sensor voltage. The PID referenced in the post above is for the GMPP 3 bar MAP sensors.

thanks guys

you should hae a PID called "Boost Sensor Lo Res" this will log boost (before the throttle where the sensor is) up to 512 kpa. The MAP sensor PIDs only go to 255 kPa.
Chris...
I count sheep in hex...
Thank you Chris... I'll look into it.

Created the custom PID for charge pipe pressure as follows:
[PID.2338.PSI]-[PID.51.PSI]
or
Boost Sensor Lo Res - Barometric Pressure (SAE)
Called it Charge (psi)
Make sure you add both PID's to the table first.
We'll see how it works out.

New PID above for WOT boost works well.
