    '07 cobalt locked vcm?

I'm trying to get into a 2007 chevy cobalt and whne I try to download the stock file I get some sort of security error from hpt. Looks like the vcm is locked, but I see a lot of you on here working on these. I am as sure as I can be this is all stock. Customer bought this car new in 2007 and no one has been in it. Any help?

    What engine?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I have a 2007 Pontiac G5 2.2L ecotec that is having this problem. The vehicle is on the supported list now. It comes up while trying to read the VCM that it is a saturn ion L4.

It states in the supported list that 2006 is not supported. Is there a possibility that the car being a 2007 model was manufactured in 06 and this applies?

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance
