    Disconnect MAF ?

    Hey guys,

I'm a noobie and it's been 3 yrs since I tuned my TA. Don't use it ya loose it ?

I'm trying to tune my 03 Silverado and it just seems to run lean no matter what I do.

I've set the MAF freq to 0, disabled the STFT and LTFT to try and get a base VE/AFR table. Yet no matter what I do it seems to run lean.

Does the MAF need to be out of the loop ?

Attached is the current tune and a short log. It seems to me the VE is very high, but I tried upping the values to get it running.

It does run with everything enabled after I upped the MAF values a little.

    It's a forged LS1 with a 224/228 115 LSA CAM 035 ported heads and a FAST 90 with a 87mm TB and the X link adapter.

ARH 1 7/8 headers into 2 3" magnaflows. CAI also.

Please check out the tune and let me know what you think.

    Thanks for any help.

    I finally figured it out.

I did not have the MAF fail to 0 therefore it was still looking for it.

Though afterwards, code 1514 would pop up and then I could do nodda.

I upped the 1514 fail value to the max so I can drive the darn thing.

VE is pretty close but needs more log time.
