Mine was also the most on #4 and rotating the knock sensor to 9 o'clock did nothing to improve it. Even on around 100 octane I still see random part throttle KR on #2 and #4, I quit worrying about it except at WOT. I don't see any there though on 66% ethanol, even at 24* advance.

You'd think if knock was just happening mostly on one cylinder your could try a injector skew change to see if it helps?
eg.
All cylinders run 1.0, cylinder 4 runs 1.1?
An idea. Fuel can help kill knock so..... worse case scenario you could give it a shot.
No access to individual injector settings on the LNF though.

Yeah, Im getting a smoke test done this Friday so that'll rule out any air leaks. The next thing would be a compression/ leak down test. Hopefully I'll sell it before then. Next car is a mazdaspeed 3 (2011) or an 08 dodge caliber srt4. Still a 4 banger and still a 4dr but room for a family in the future.
