If you need a log of a 2000 Corvette with HUD, pls tell me - I can provide some raw data via ELM322 if still needed...
I'm also playing around with this things, basically I like to deactivate the panic button on my FOB to use it as keyless ignition
Greetings from switzerland,
Michael
I would love it. I am still having trouble getting rid of the reduced power message on the DIC. If you could put the ELM322 in the bus monitor mode and record a few minutes worth of data to both address 60(IPC) and address EA(DIC and indicator lights). I would appreciate it immensely.
I'm pretty new to this things, can you pls tell me how to just record this adresses?

> ATMA
and copy the output to a text file? If you need something else, pls tell me. When should I start, with running engine or before?
Would be nice if you could post a list of the adresses on the corvette bus - I'm happy for every available information
-Michael-
sorry for the long delay, I had some troubles at work, and I didn't see my red lady for a couple of days.
Finally it's done :-)

output stopped here, nothing more with still running engine for 2 mins
---------------------------
ATMR60 didn't show ANY output, no matter if ignition was on, off, engine running, playing with the door lock, radio, lights, whatever...
Maybe wrong adress?
Hope it helps, if you need more, just tell me :-)
have a nice weekend,
Michael
Unfortunately none of those messages turned off the "reduced power message" on the driver information center. Is there a chance you could do a capture using ATMT 10. Maybe the PCM is sending out some message or a status message that clears that message.
No Problem, I will check again this weekend
Long time ago...
Since a few days I'm back playing with my C5 OBD2 Stuff.
Target is a kind of Valet ( ) with an ELM and an Arduino for my Vette. Works so far, I can open and close my Window via Remote Transmitter, also opening the fuel door works fine (driven by a relais).
Did you solve your Prob already? Searching for Class2 Signal of Speed and RPM I found out, that the IPC directly gets a speed signal (4000 Pulses per mile) from a speed sensor.
This might be the reason why you have this error? AFAIK also a Tacho Signal goes directly to the IPC, plus a Class2 Message for RPM on the bus.
It seems you can control IPC via Class2 Data for testing reasons, but this might be not the usual way of driving the panel.
Greetings,
Michael
