Can credits that I buy just disappear? I lost 2 credits trying to license a gm truck

Is it possible to just lose credits while tuning a GM 05 silverado?

I took my truck to a friend and before I got their he said he paid for 2 credits to tune the truck so that he would be ready to go. So plugs it into the truck then he says he couldn't license the tune and said they disappeared. Do credits just diappear? So then I gave my credit card and paid the 99.00 to get the 2 new credits and everything went fine. He tunes a couple cars a month for people so doesn't make sense.

Is this possible or pulling one over on me? Figured you guys would know.

Sounds like your buddy didn't update his application key, or just didn't buy credits at all.

I have seen where people end up licensing two different tunes for the same ecm before. Your friend might have backed up your original tune, and then made a copy and by accident he licensed the new tune and the original one too. His mistake if he did.

I have had problems in the past where the cable reverts back to the previous application key and shows a negative amount of credits. I was told it is not possible but its happened to me 5-6 times now.
