    Supported ECM's

    Hi,ive got a 98 k2500 7.4L vortec,and im just wondering if HPTuner will support the #5699 PCM that is in my truck?I have a coupple others as well,none are the 0411pcm tho i should be able to find one.
    Im not dooing nothing major to the truck....yet....mabey just a mild tune and delete the passlock BS!!

    well after doing some reading im assuming that ,yes,it does support the 5699,however the 0411 is favoured due to theres more support...???i think....

    Gonna go ahead and purchase vcmsuite on friday anyways,,as we got a small fleet of duramax's up here,and it sux when we gotta send our trucks out on the winter-road,to a dealership to troubbleshoot something,or fix something we couldve done here.

    Im new to this,and looking forward to learning!!
