I just got a built trans built for my GTP. Ive noticed everytime i get a 3-1 downshift it will Rev past 6600 RPM and hit the fuel cutoff when i have my WOT shift RPM set at 5600 RPM. Whats the problem here? I sent it back to the guy that built it THREE times now and it keeps coming back with same issue.
Here is a log and my current tune. He's blaming the tune but i believe it to be correct. This is a built trans with 3.29's.

I assume that you have the shift speeds set to high so when the shift from 3 to 1 happens you are already at the redline, so lower the shift MPH.
Thats not the reason...I already tried doing a 3-1 shift at 30 MPH and still get same result.

how fast are you going when you punch it to make it kick down? I would look at your scan to get that answer but Im at work. Will look when I get home though
