Recorded my first two logs today. Rolling WOT and 60 to 100. Dial up at home so mostly phone connection. Using default scanner log what are the best things to log esp with an auto?

when we play whit those table the boost came a lot faster ..... do you play whit those table ?

    thanks

I tried changing the cam timing very similarly to the E85 MPG thread (w/ minor tuning to compensate for fuel trims) and found the DIC estimated mpg increased by 2 mpg (26.5), but the actual fuel economy was down from normal by 1 mpg (23.5) through two tanks of 93. My DIC usually estimates half of a mpg higher than actual. It seems like the changes just skewed the calculation rather than increasing mpg. Though it seems pretty obvious that part throttle torque is better with the cam changes.

Have been playing with your tune for a few weeks now, very nice! I am having an issue with it bogging down badly under mild acceleration. I realize your tune was for drag racing and have adjusted accordingly or at least to the best of my ability. Am getting much better but still can't get completely rid of the bogging. I think it might be in the trans settings but am afraid to mess with them too much. If you stab the throttle it goes like wild but light accel it boosts to 21ish but not very much go like it's fighting a strong headwind. Any guesses?

do you have any datalogs of when the car is bogging? my car has been doing this for a little while now when i first start rolling into the throttle... feels like it bogs down a little then picks up strong, it coincides with my AFR going too rich

Will post a log when I get a chance.
Is your car an auto or stick?

Its a stick and its done that same thing for as long as iv had hptuners... if i had more time i would try to figure out what exactly is causing it to ramp in rich. It literally looks like a Sine wave... loads up rich to below .8 lambda then goes lean trying to correct it i imagine.. to around .93... then goes to my commanded WOT AFR

MAF in the intake pre turbo causes the rich spike. It is so far away from the mani that the air is seen long before it reaches the cyls. The ECU adds fuel too early and then overcorrects for the rich spike. It can be tuned out in the MAF correction table but it takes time & effort.

MAF relocate to the cold CP usually helps a lot with the spike but can cause other issues.

Mine saw a lot of MAF noise too close to the TB on the ZZP relocate and the idle trims were hard to dial in as the MAF position saw very little airflow at idle.

I've posted a short log. Have managed to get most of the bogging down to go away. Try loading my DAL,MALT, and Duty Cycle Correction tables and see what you get.

it looks like your car is bogging because the spark timing is dropping way off at part throttle accel.... it happens all over the log but look at 7:24 of your log it goes from 17 degrees to -4 degrees or at 5:51 you have -7 degrees timing

i cant tell if its pulling the timing because of the slight knock issues or because of the high boost numbers youre seeing at part throttle... one spot hit 26psi on my scanner @60% throttle

No problem, wish i actually knew why the timing was dropping on you! Here's a log from today, been messing with the wastegate DC to understand it better... boost was a little lower on my WOT pull because i started at a high speed haha! Mild accel was at 5:24 and WOT is at 14:24 and i attached the config file i use too if you want to try it out

I will check out your log when I can. Do most of my posting from my phone.
I have noticed the WGDC and MALT tables need to play nice or the boost gets really erratic. The DAL needs to be pretty smooth too. These three seem to be key to smooth progressive boost.

on my log i was really happy with it for the most part... just that little rich-to-lean blip while rolling into WOT and i pulled 1.5psi after messing with my WG duty cycle haha, oops! Iv got the boost to come in pretty smooth and virtually no boost spike like iv seen on other logs
