Is something like this already in HPT? If not, can we get it? I'm tired of my fuel gauge not reading what is actually in my tank...

That sounds like a great feature, mine hasnt been right ever since I switched over to Escalade guages.

I was always under the impression that the sensor/sender inside the fuel tank was the cause of inaccurate low fuel readings.
intresting though
hmmm definitly interesting
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
I would like to see this added as well!

Hmmmm....okay, I'm an idiot I guess.
Here is a before screen shot:
And here is what I want it to do (I think):
Questions posted below.
Basically, I want a linear output. When I have 8.4 gallons in the tank, I want the gauge to read half.
Now...the "Fuel Gauge Output vs. Level" graph makes some sense to me, but the other graph has no correlation to anything I see in my car. When I'm driving my car, when the gauge reads 1/4 tank, that means that there is about half a tank of gas in there (it fills up with about 8-10 gallons at the pump when on 1/4 tank). Actually, neither graph depicts what I actually see in my car come to think of it...
Am I missing something here?
I haven't actually tried the tune in the second pic yet, and won't be able to until tomorrow.
Any ideas? Or am I just gonna have to trial and error this thing?
And for that matter, how can you have a PWM value of 110% Pulse Width Modulation correct?
heres the only thing I changed, this seems logical to me that it would work, but I am with you on the other stuff, I have looked and looked at parameters and all the fuel tank PIDs, nothing.

Yeah...I'll mess with it tomorrow and see what I can come up with.
