    2006 Silverado P0300

    the code is for random misfire, the truck idles extremely rough and when you give it gas it puffs black smoke. anybody have any idea what it could be? i have attactched a log if it helps

    My 2007 is doing the same thing same bank same log basically. How can you set up a misfire count histogram in the program?

    Well after a more in depth search I have found my issue to be very little compression in the number 1 cylinder. 3 things needed for it to run right: fuel, fire, compression. Just thought my 2 cents might help in your search as well.
